Mac OR PC(Windows)? Which is Best?

This is by far the most asked question we receive at our shops, even in 2018! Well folks while this may cause some tension, I'm going to go right out and say it. Their both amazing! I personally own a badass Envigo Windows 10 gaming PC, a Macbook Air, and a Lenovo Thinkpad X230. The battle between Mac and PC is coming to an end, with most relevant applications now being cloud and cross platform based, you should have no problems hoping on a Mac or PC and getting a ton of work done. The reason to choose one machine over the other now boils down to your personal use. For example do you already own lots of iOS devices, and do you take lots of photos. iCloud Photo-stream is a wonderful way to keep track of your photos and keep them secure and backed up in the cloud. While you can download the iCloud app for windows, iCloud Photo-stream on Mac's just seems more natural. Do you like to play video games? Windows 10 gaming is like no other and expect long delays before popular titles get released on MacOS.

Then comes price Apple likes to hold back technology on its devices because of its high quality operating system. Its very expensive to get high end hardware on a mac for comparison the current Mac Pro listed on their website has these specs

6-Core and Dual GPU3.5GHz

6-Core Intel Xeon E5 processor 1866MHz DDR3 ECC memory

Dual AMD FirePro D500 with 3GB GDDR5 VRAM each256GB

PCIe-based SSD1

$2,999.00

If you plugged those specs into a custom built PC the price would be around $1000 dollars less expensive and you would have a lot more options for your dream computer.

Overall i think the best approach is a hybrid approach i don't think we should all be brained washed into thinking one platform is better then the other. It's a tie right now and it really just boils down to preference and budget. Having a home or business with a mix of i phones mac's and windows PC's is totally viable option. I'm sorry i couldn't give you guys a straight answer but i hope this helps when deciding which platform to buy!
